In 1953 Adventist Education Simi Valley Elementary (AESV Elementary) started out as a small building with a big dream. Harry Schrillo hoped that the school would serve not only as a means to educate the children of the local church, but serve as a center of activity in the Simi Valley area. In the 1980’s the school enjoyed its highest level of success as the enrollment soared to over 120 students. AESV Elementary is once again growing and enjoying success as it serves Simi Valley Seventh-day Adventist Church, and reaches out to become a central feature of the local community.
